WSOP 2015: Negreanu not done yetNO Deposit bonus $43

There was a way of momentum to Daniel Negreanu's progress today. In contrast to that of Joe McKeehen, who seems unstoppable. Instead Negreanu looks and plays like a person who doesn't need probably the most chips, he just needs enough.

Shortly before the dinner break those watching found themselves wondering whether he did have enough. Through the space of a degree he'd dropped from greater than 10 million to not up to six. Then a hand against McKeehen, who would show kings to an agonised Negreanu, sent him right into a tough spot.

With 12 big blinds the Thunder Dome, that where Negreanu has played for the past few days, went quiet, looking forward to the inevitable shove from the Team Pro. They did not need to wait long.

It came moments later, again against McKeehen, the one player with enough chips to name his all-in and not using a moment's thought.

So with 2.8 million Negreanu shoved with pocket fours, which McKeehen called with ace-seven off-suit. Negreanu knew this was it, the gang new this was it, but we wanted the board to make a decision for certain. Would this be the tip of his Main Event?

In what was some of the memorable poker moments I WILL remember for some time. Everyone at the stage waited. It's pointless to indicate it's anything but a partisan crowd, and so they all wanted the similar outcome. Nothing personal Joe, however the audience had come to look Negreanu, and so they didn't' wish to see him leave.

"Four!"

The flop came ten-nine--three with two spades. After an agonising wait the turn was a jack, which gave McKeehen four more cards with which to bust the house town hero. He waited, the group waited, we waited, all eyes at the dealer, who burned a card and dealt a king at the river.

The crowd erupted in cheers. Negreanu raised his arms aloft. How could even the most efficient players on this planet be expected to stay calm at a moment like this? Suddenly, wiping the invisible sweat from his brow, he was off the critical list, for now a minimum of. The blinds now go up, and Negreanu is in no way out of danger.

But he has chips, and to this point this week that's all that's mattered.

Las Vegas Casinos Make Peace with President ObamaNO Deposit bonus $43

While the mayor and the governor grumbled, President Obama used his star power to win back casino and gaming workers upset with remarks he had made about Las Vegas.

President Obama made a visit to Las Vegas this week to fix political wounds suffered when he commented against the convention and gambling town as the appropriate way from teetering companies to spend stimulus money. Casino operators, always awed by celebrity, forgave the President immediately, saying no harm was meant.

However, political leaders from the gambling state weren't so quick to simply accept the President's appearance as a possibility to near ranks. After Obama's departure, Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman noted the Preseident never "said the magic words," while Governor Jim Gibbons refused a call for participation to speak about thoughts with Obama on the airport.

The Preseident appeared at a fundraising event for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, an established crony of the state gaming industry who faces a difficult re-election campaign.

Caesar's Palace boasted that Obama had chosen to stick in a single in their top suites, a fantastic 22,000 square foot palace complete with private pool overlooking the Las Vegas Strip.

Many within the casino and gambling industry, by far the state's largest employer, noted bitterly how Obama decried executives taking luxurious Vegas trips on American taxpayer dollars. They wonder how his stay at Caesar's is all that different.

"My company comes here for the reason that convention facilities are the most efficient on the planet. After we are here, we stay two to a room within the discount rooming, working the entire time," said Vegas visitor Tom Owings. "Maybe it'd be different if I had an individual pool."

FBI Preparing UIGEA Online Gambling Case Against Full Tilt?NO Deposit bonus $43

Circumstantial reports may indicate the U.S. government is preparing its first case using the UIGEA online gambling ban, involving online poker operator Full Tilt.

FBI agents have turned up in Washington state interviewing online gambling patrons of Full Tilt, some of the largest Internet poker sites. With the looming implementation of the UIGEA, the U.S. government could also be preparing the primary use of the ban in a prosecution of a web based gambling operator.

Reports at the popular twoplustwo poker forum say that small-time players have received unannounced visits from FBI agents inquiring as to their transactions with Full Tilt. The agents are saying that they're not seeking to prosecute the players, but rather to collect information on Full Tilt, indicating the building of a federal case against the web poker operator. While the forum's reasoning in response to the facts is only speculative, the placement seems to steer to certain logical conclusions.

The setting of the investigation in Washington is a key, because the state is certainly one of only a few with a law against online poker. Courts have found that the UIGEA only penalizes violators of existing gambling laws, because of this online gambling operators accepting Washington residents would fall under the prohibition's purview.

Further, Washington allows prosecution against patrons of Internet gaming as a felony, a legal leverage that can help investigators coerce cooperation from reluctant gamblers. Courts investigating  Internet gambling operations in other jurisdictions have had trouble persuading participants to testify.

The UIGEA is about to start out implementation on June 1st, unless Congress acts before then to switch or repeal the law. Barney Frank is leading an effort to manage online gambling before the implementation date for the UIGEA involves pass.

However, if the united states does implement the web gambling ban, a prosecution of Full Tilt could prove disastrous to the poker company. Even if the violations could also be specific to Washington and that state's law, the dep. of Justice could use that opening to create such financial and legal trouble as to force Full Tilt out of the united states gaming market.

Rhode Island Governor's Veto Stands Against Casino GamblingNO Deposit bonus $43

A bill which might allow table games to be operated at Rhode Island racinos did not advance beyond the governor's veto, leaving voters unable to make your mind up for themselves.

Play Now at Slots Plus Casino! A bill glided by both houses of the Rhode Island legislature which might allow full casino gambling on the state's two slot parlors won't make it to the voters, as a deadline to override the Governor's veto passed today. Governor Donald Carcieri had refused to cooperate with a bill expanding gambling, and the lawmakers needed to bypass the veto by today to have the measure put on the ballot this year.

The new law would allow the operation of table games, including blackjack and roulette, to the choice of gambling provided on the racinos.

The Twin River slot parlor is already in bankruptcy, and the Newport Grand facility is struggling financially, because the state places an onerous tax burden at the gaming houses. Carcieri helped change rules which forced the 2 erstwhile dog tracks to satisfy minimum hours of live racing, because the racing was losing money, however the chunk given to the state is substantially more than greyhound losses.

Carcieri also denies his own constituents the appropriate to choose the problem for themselves. For the reason that expansion of gambling requires a constitutional amendment, without equal fate of the bill would has been decided within the general election.

With table gaming denied for greater than a year at best, the way forward for the Rhode Island gambling houses is in question. OCA gambling analyst Sherman Bradley says the state's greed, combined with its intransigence over admitting new casino games, might cost it the multi-million-dollar golden goose.
