The Bellagio in Las Vegas held the Bellagio Cup XII this week, a $10,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em event that usually includes a strong field of players.
This year’s edition drew 268 entrants, making a total prize pool of $2,599,600. The highest 27 players made the money, earning a minimum payout of $23,396. Within the end, it was Kuljinder Sidhu who came out on top, adding $599,440 to his checking account after chopping with high-stakes poker pro Nick Schulman.
Sidhu topped a completely stacked final table that featured an accomplished poker pro in every seat. Joining Sidhu and Schulman on the table were Byron Kaverman (10th), Dani Stern (9th), Liv Boeree (8th), David Peters (7th), Adam Geyer (6th), Pratyush Buddiga (5th), Connor Drinan (4th) and Chance Kornuth (3rd).
Other notables who finished within the money included Sam Soverel (24th), Faraz Jaka (22nd), Andjelko Andrejevic (20th), Justin Young (18th), Jason Wheeler (17th), Rainer Kempe (16th), Justin Bonomo (15th), Adrian Mateos Diaz (13th), Igor Kurganov (12th) and Noah Schwartz (11th).
