After beginning the season with 20 contestants, poker pro David Williams has made it to the “magnificent seven” at the latest season of the preferred FOX show “MasterChef.”
Williams and his competitors are vying for the $250,000 prize and a cookbook deal. The last episode aired Wednesday. In step with Entertainment Weekly, Williams recently made bacon wrapped shrimp with tomato salad and anchovy sauce, only one of many high-end dishes he has prepared during his run.

Williams also successfully navigated through a team challenge, however at one point he wasn’t capable of open a champagne bottle and so he tossed it in anger, the report said.
Though he was criticized over the move, it was understood that it came from his win. He received some feedback on Twitter about it, and defended it by saying: “I have put it like this: On the [poker] tables I NEED TO keep it in. Within the kitchen I'LL let all of it out!”
