Wind Creek Hospitality (WCH) has promoted three team members to executive positions. Cody Williamson will function the brand new vice chairman of regulatory affairs and compliance for WCH, Kay Simmons have been selected as property manager for Wind Creek Casino & Hotel, Wetumpka (WCW) and Terri Morris is the brand new assistant property manager at Wind Creek Casino & Hotel, Atmore (WCA).
Not only does each of those team members hold an outstanding resume, but also they are all enrolled members of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians. Brent Pinkston, chief operating officer for WCH, stated,” This can be a privilege to work with these team members. They each have a real commitment to their tribe and to the company, and i'm confident they're going to continue to contribute to the success and expansion of our operations of their new positions.”
Cody Williamson-Prior to taking over his new role, Cody served for seven years because the property manager at WCW. He was the director of buying for PCI Gaming (referred to now as Wind Creek Hospitality) in addition to an attorney within the Poarch Creek Indians tribal legal office. He has a finance degree from the University of Alabama in addition to a law degree from the University Of Alabama School Of Law.
Kay Simmons- Kay has greater than 25 years of expertise in finance, compliance and operations. Her most up-to-date tenure of 7 years is with WCH, where she has served as director of regulatory compliance and as assistant property WCA. She has a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of West Florida and is an alumna of Deloitte accounting firm. Kay is the primary women to carry the title of property manager at any of Wind Creek Hospitality’s locations.
Terri Morris-Terri have been employed with the Poarch Creek Indians for greater than ten years. She began working as a human resources assistant for Creek Indian Enterprises(CIE) in 2004, then moved to the Tribe’s Gaming Operation in 2007 because the employee relations manager. Shortly after her transition into the gaming operation she was promoted to employee relations director. In 2012 she accepted the director of staffing & recruitment position where she served until obtaining her newest role as WCA assistant property manager. Terri is a graduate of Faulkner University with a Bachelor of commercial Administration and Master of Science in Management.
