NFL OKs Las Vegas TV Ads, if Casinos and Gambling Left OutALL COUNTRIES CAN PLAY @ ATLANTIS GOLD CASINO!
panthercasino.com sport betting and casino

The NFL says it's perfectly fine with ads for Las Vegas on television broadcasts of its games, as long as the ads don't feature casinos, gambling, betting, blackjack, slots, poker, or hookers....well, hookers are ok.

The National Football League has announced it will reverse its own policy and allow advertisements for the city of Las Vegas to run on television during postseason football games this year. Previously, the city was barred from Super Bowl and other playoff game marketing, as the NFL continues its disingenuous campaign to pretend sports gambling doesn't exist.

However, just because tourism representatives from Las Vegas will be allowed to spend millions to place ads on the NFL time slots, doesn't mean that the league is having a Sternian moment of reality as regards gambling. In fact, NFL advertising rules still don't allow specific casinos to buy ads, nor may the city ads contain gambling references or imagery.

Now we know who it is that goes to Las Vegas to take the tour of Hoover Dam: NFL nerds, who think it a "reasonable modification" of existing policy to ask Las Vegas to promote itself without showing or mentioning gambling. The NFL has released statements that "very few" of its fans participate in illegal sports betting; perhaps it believes very few people go to Vegas to gamble.

In 2004, Las Vegas city officials went around the NFL block by buying Super Bowl commercial time from affiliates, rather than CBS, that year's host network.

"We were not pleased and we let CBS know," said an NFL spokesman.

Still, Vegas tourist industry spokesmen were excited about the prospect of using the giant stage to attract visitors. Some seemed more in touch with practicality than the NFL might wish.

"NFL fans come to Vegas and Vegas fans are NFL fans," said Howard Lefkowitz, CEO of Vegas.com, to Newsday.

OCA gambling analyst Sherman Bradley suggested a proper ad, refusing to insult the public's intelligence while still obeying the NFL mandate, might show the city's reflection in an eyeball; then have the eye simply wink, as the slogan runs saying, "Las Vegas...you know what's waiting."

Battle of the Planets: Numero Uno, Mikel Unanue wins $12K and August freeroll titleALL COUNTRIES CAN PLAY @ ATLANTIS GOLD CASINO!

Showing the flags of cultural diversity at tonight's Battle of the Planets monthly $50,000.00 Triple Shootout freeroll. All nine players were from different countries: Mexico, Slovakia, Canada, Sweden, Ireland, Finland, Belgium, Russia, and Germany all represented at the final leg of the triple shootout. But, it was Mexico's Mikel Unanue walking away after nearly five hours of play with $12,000 after defeating Slovakia's WWO16 heads-up.

Approximately an hour and forty minutes into the first round of the triple shootout only rium <3 and akamai168 still had fresh card slung in their direction as the other 80 table winners waited patiently for them to finish up. With the blinds at 150/300 ante 25, akamai168 would limp in from the button as rium <3 checked to see a [6s][Ts][3d] flop. rium <3 checked again as akami168 bet 400 chips. rium <3 moved in quickly for 3,303 as akamai168 called just as fast with bottom two pair [3h][6h]. rium <3's top pair [5d][Th] failed to catch on the [Jd] turn or [4s] river to end the freeroll on the money bubble in 82nd place.

cmonk33 and entim would capture the first two seats to the final table with $12,000.00 sitting up top for the winner of the third leg of the shootout. cmonk33 has been there before taking home a chopped $8,500.00 runner-up check back in September 2011 after falling to jorjorreal heads-up.

A regular in the weekly $1,050 buy-in Super Tuesday event, WhEADa was coming off a $56K score after taking third in the 07/30/13 Super Tuesday that was won by Craig McCorkell. Today WhEADa held the magical key to open up the Battle of the Planets third round facing off against wormsdron on the last open table. Holding a 10,435 to 3,065 chip lead, WhEADa would min-raise from the button with the blinds at 125/250 ante 25 as wormsdron made the call. [5d][Js][4c] on the flop got wormsdron to check as WhEADa bet 425. Holding bottom pair [4d][Qc] wormsdron check-raised all-in as WhEADa was not folding top pair top kicker [As][Jh]. The [5h] turn and river [Jd] sent the remaining 6,130 chips to the Finn setting up the final table below:

BOTP_082513.jpg

Seat 1: WWO16 (1500 in chips)
Seat 2: Mr.Aatto (1500 in chips)
Seat 3: cmonk33 (1500 in chips)
Seat 4: Suffmeier (1500 in chips)
Seat 5: Mikel Unanue (1500 in chips)
Seat 6: omba (1500 in chips) is sitting out
Seat 7: entim (1500 in chips)
Seat 8: Kleo Wyatt (1500 in chips)
Seat 9: WhEADa (1500 in chips)

Through the first level an active chatbox tried to stir up a nine-way chop which would net the players just below $4K a piece. The banter would come to a screeching halt after the blinds moved from 10/20 to 15/30 as all nine players survived until the 25/50 blind level.

Nearly an hour to bust

After nearly hour of play and all nine final tablist still in we would finally have the first elimination. Close to the change into the 75/150 blind level, Suffmeier would open shove a shortstack of 813 from the button as Mikel Unanue re-shoved from the small blind. omba folded the big blind as Mikel Unanue turned up pocket nines [9d][9c] with a better than average shot of winning over Suffmeier's [Ac][8c]. No card over a seven on the [4c] [7h] [3c] [3s] [6s] board and Suffmeier suffered the first knockout from the final table in ninth place ($775.00).

Up go the blinds, down goes Kleo Wyatt

Three hands later with the blinds moving up to 75/150 WWO16 would min-raise UTG as Kleo Wyatt shoved 1,546 chips from the small blind. Covering, WWO16 made the call with pocket jacks [Jc][Jd] racing against the suited [Qd][Ad] of Kleo Wyatt. An ace on the [4h][Ah][9c] put Kleo Wyatt firmly in the lead. The turned [Ts] was of no consequence but the two-outer on the river [Js] sent Kleo Wyatt packing in eighth place ($1,200.00).

Almost made it to the break

Just two hands before the hourly five minute intermission with the blinds moving up to 100/200 Mr.Aatto tried adding a shortstack by open shoving from the small blind for 875 total. Holding a solid and suited ace [Tc][Ac] cmonk33 made the call. Suited in diamonds [Jd][8d] Mr.Aatto would watch the [Ah] [2c] [5s] [6d] [3h] board only produce one sending Belgian off with seventh place cash ($1,700.00).

WhEADa waits no more

Fighting for tournament life after doubling up Mikel Unanue and left with 206 before the break, WhEADa would only last the first hand after the five minute interlude. Watch below as the shortstack becomes a no-stack:

Dominated before the flop holding [Th][Qc] to Mikel Unanue's [Ad][Td] and dominated after the river [Ks] [5s] [8h] [6h] [2s] WhEADa took away $2,200.00 in sixth place.

entim's time is up

Still in the 100/200 blind level and four hands after entim surrendered a double-up to omba, the microstacked entim held just 95 chips after paying the big blind and called all-in for less after Mikel Unanue three-bet a min-raise by WWO16. The original raiser folded as Mikel Unanue turned up [Qc][Ac] clearly dominating the [2d][As] of entim. The bookends of queens [Qs] [Tc] [7s] [9h] [Qh] were not necessary but named entim the fifth place finisher ($2,735.00).

A peaceful defeat

"It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver" - Mahatma Gandhi

With Gandhi as the avatar for omba, it would be a peaceful defeat for the Swede as the blinds held at 100/200, omba would shove 1,436 from the small blind holding [Qc][9d]. WWO16 quickly called from the big blind with [Jc][As] and was greeted by an ace on the door [Ah] [7s] [4h] [Js] [Qs] to send $3,350.00 in wealth to omba in fourth place. omba certainly improved on the eighth place finish here last month, making a rare back-to-back final table appearances.

Denied a shot at the title

As mentioned, cmonk33's last trip to the Battle of the Planets final table ended with a runner-up finish. Today cmonk would fall one place shy of that feat. As the blinds still remained at 100/200 Mikel Unanue raised to 440 from the button as cmonk33 shoved from the big blind for 2,463. Mikel Unanue had no problem making the call with pocket queens [Qh][Qc] as cmonk33 went hunting for a king or spades [Ks][Qs]. One spade, one king, and... unfortunately for cmonk33 the fourth queen hit the [4h] [Qd] [3s] [Kd] [8d] board ended the day for cmonk33 in third place ($4,500.00).

Mikel reigns

Despite taking a 9,414 to 4,086 chip lead going into heads-up play, Mikel Unanue's road to victory was not a smooth path. WWO16 would claim the first five hands in a row, including a double up on the fifth hand to take the lead 9,872 to 3,628.

But three minutes later, Mikel Unanue would strike back with a double up after pocket kings held off WWO16's [As][3h] on the [3c] [Qd] [4s] [2s] [Jc] board to retake the lead for good.

Seven minutes later with Mikel Unanue holding a 8,028 to 5,472 chip lead they would get all the chips into the middle preflop. Watch below for the $12,000.00 flip:

WWO16's pocket fives [5c][5d] could not get past the flopped pair of jacks [Th] [Jd] [7d] [3h] [6d] for Mikel Unanue's [Jh][As]. That pair of jacks was worth $12,000.00 as Mikel Unanue became the August Battle of the Planets $50,000 Triple Shootout champion!

MicroMillions 6: Sympatiq4e closes out with Event #100 win ($1+R NL Hold'em Hyper-Turbo)ALL COUNTRIES CAN PLAY @ ATLANTIS GOLD CASINO!
panthercasino.com sport betting and casino

Event #100 was a fitting tournament to end the small buy-in, big prizepool MicroMillions series. It was a $1 No Limit Hold'em Hyper-Turbo with Rebuys which had players moving as fast as they could to keep up with the structure. Players were given 30 minutes to mash the rebuy button as many times as they could but only had three minutes before each level change.

The final MicroMillions 6 event drew 10,699 players and they hit rebuy 41,268 times plus 6,441 add-ons. That all added up to a $57,210.44 prizepool sending $8,176 to the winner. The tournament quickly moved down to four tables that saw an all-in and call practically every hand, often multi-way pots.

It only took 150 minutes to play all the way down to the final table with the average stack rarely going over 10 big blinds early. The late play stacks were hovering around 5 big blinds for the final few tables. SkyBoy111 began the final table with the chiplead and also the only player with double digit big blinds.

PokerStarsMicroMillions6-100.jpg

Final Table chip counts:

Seat 1: Waniol (5,957,064 in chips)
Seat 2: Pedrosilva88 (9,734,147 in chips)
Seat 3: curedhead (1,920,703 in chips)
Seat 4: aurike53 (4,448,032 in chips)
Seat 5: Sympatiq4e (8,494,230 in chips)
Seat 6: juniao 21 (10,493,550 in chips)
Seat 7: FC_BURITO (13,165,011 in chips)
Seat 8: SkyBoy111 (21,735,695 in chips)
Seat 9: moka14 (8,193,568 in chips)

Blinds: 800k/1.6m with 320k ante

Waniol flips out, eliminated in 9th

With such shallow stacks, it was no surprise there immediate chatter about making a deal. A rare occurrence for a full final table and someone was staying silent by not clicking the deal button. Eventually they could stall no longer and the first showdown turned out to be a coin flip.

Waniol open shoved from middle position with A♥7♦ and was called by Sympatiq4a in the big blind with 3♥3♦. Waniol fell behind right out the gate on the A♠J♣7♣ flop. The turn 2♠ and river Q♣ provided no miracle and Waniol was the first out at the final table in 9th place for $400.

curedhead gets tag teamed, eliminated in 8th

There were two double ups after the first elimination and curedhead was trying to talk the table into a deal. Still nothing happening and he called all-in for less than the big blind. juniao 21 limped from the button and FC_BURITO checked his option before the A♠J♣8♦ flop.

The blinds checked and juniao 21 checked again on the 4♣ turn. FC_BURITO then moved all-in to isolate with J♠2♥ and was ahead of curedhead's 8♣5♥. The K♣ river was not a card curedhead needed and was the next player sent out in 8th place for $629.

aurike53 posts blind, eliminated in 7th

The final table actually went a few hands without an elimination before setting off a string of three knockouts in three hands. aurike53 was down to half a big blind and in the big blind.

FC_BURITO shoved with A♦K♣ to isolate and everyone else bailed to get the hand heads up with aurike53 A♣J♦. An excellent "in the dark" all-in hand but unfortunately dominted. FC_BURITO hit top pair on the K♥Q♣8♥ flop leaving aurike53 with a gutshot draw. No Ten hit on the 2♥ turn or 6♦ river and aurike53 hit the rail in 7th place for $1,144.

juniao 21 gets Kinged, eliminated in 6th

The second hand in the string of quick knockouts started with FC_BURITO once again involved but opening the action for a small raise instead a shove, perhaps a tell. No one was biting and it was left to juniao 21 who followed aurike53 by being all-in from the big blind.

FC_BURITO picked up his second straight premium starting hand with K♥K♠ and juniao 21 was forced to go with 4♥2♣ to stay in the tournament. The T♠7♠6♣ flop had two low cards but not low enough but the 5♣ gave juniao 21 an open ended straight draw.

There was no love on the J♥ river and FC_BURITO picked up his second consecutive knockout while juniao 21 was eliminated in 6th place for $1,716.

Pedrosilva88 voted out, eliminated in 5th

The next hand did not involve FC_BURITO having a monster but it was a three-way big hand. Pedrosilva88 open shoved from the cutoff for a little over one big blind before Sympatiq4e called from the button along with SkyBoy111 in the big blind.

Both players with chips behind checked down the entire J♦T♦8♦A♣2♣ board before all three showed down. Pedrosilva88 was all-in with K♣2♥ and a pair of ducks while Sympatiq4e showed A♠6♦ for top pair to beat SkyBoy111 with K♥9♣. Sympatiq4e picked up the pot while Pedrosilva88 was the third in a back-to-back-to-back knockout in 5th place for $2,288.

moka14 runs out of time, eliminated in 4th

In a strange twist at this final table, they went more than two minutes without a big hand but that was as long as the pause would last. Two players were holding less than a big blind and moka14 was one of them.

moka14 moved all-in from the under the gun, Sympatiq4e called from the button and SkyBoy111 checked his option in the big blind. Sympatiq4e followed with a 4,000,000 bet after the Q♠T♦6♥ flop and SkyBoy111 got out of the way.

Sympatiq4e showed Q♦J♣ for top pair while moka14 was sitting with K♠T♠ and middle pair. Sympatiq4e tripped up with the Q♥ leaving moka14 drawing dead to the 3♦ river and the next player gone, out in 4th place for $2,860.

SkyBoy111 gets tripped up, eliminated in 3rd

SkyBoy111 was the last player in danger of blinding out on short order and moved all-in from the small blind. Sympatiq4e called the shove in the big blind with the mighty 7♠4♠ up against A♦3♦. The shortie was in line for a small double until the Q♠7♦5♣ flop left him looking for an Ace or a runner-runner miracle.

The 3♠ paired him up but the river did not improve him enough to stay alive and SkyBoy111 put heads up action in progress by getting knocked out in 3rd place for $4,259.

Sympatiq4e catches good to win Event #100

Sympatiq4e (41,364,704 in chips)
FC_BURITO (42,777,296 in chips)

It took less than 10 minutes for the final table to get heads up and it was a tight match. With both remaining players holding virtually identical stacks, they quickly made a decision to chop the top two spots right down the middle leaving $600 behind for the winner. The payouts were quickly adjusted and it was no surprise after this final table that both players had good hands.

Sympatiq4e opened shoved from the button with 8♥8♠ and was snap called by FC_BURITO with 5♠5♦. Snowmen versus Presto for the title and the K♣J♠2♦4♣3♥ board produced no drama. FC_BURITO was the final table chipleader for most of the final table but had to settle for runner-up status and $6,792 while Sympatiq4e won the title for $7,392.02.

Devils And 76ers Sign Groundbreaking Gambling Sponsorship DealALL COUNTRIES CAN PLAY @ ATLANTIS GOLD CASINO!
panthercasino.com sport betting and casino

Published on January 8, 2014 by April Gardner

Sports gambling may not yet be legal in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, but that does not mean that professional sports organizations are not taking advantage of the current state of the gaming industry in the US.

This week, the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils signed groundbreaking sponsorship deals with Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment. The online gaming group will promote Internet gambling to millions of sports fans through the new agreement put in place.

The Devils and 76ers are both owned by Josh Harris, and the franchises are considered to be among the bottom half in terms of value in their respective leagues. It is clear that the two organizations want to be pioneers in what is considered to be one of the most up and coming industry's in the US.

"This is our flag in the ground that we do things differently," said Scott O'Neill, CEO of the Devils, 76ers, and the Prudential Center where New Jersey plays its home games. "We're looking for groundbreaking opportunities with companies willing to take chances."

The Prudential Center is part of the deal. Advertisements for Bwin's online gambling sites will be featured throughout the arena.

"These are two of the most iconic names in American hockey and basketball with huge and loyal fanbases throughout New Jersey and the surrounding metropolitan areas," said Bwin CEO, Norbert Teufelberger.

New Jersey became just the third state in the US to regulate Internet gambling last year. The state has been licensing Atlantic City casinos for the past several months, and a few online sites have already launched. To date, over 150,000 online gambling accounts have been created by New Jersey residents, and analysts predict that is only the tip of the iceberg for Internet gaming.

Pennsylvania does not yet allow online gambling, making the 76ers partnership with Bwin somewhat of a risk. The two companies, however, believe that it is only a matter of time before online gambling spreads throughout the US, and they wanted to be ahead of the curve.

Foreign online gaming companies such as Bwin have begun to partner with AC casinos in the aftermath of law changes in New Jersey. The casinos needed companies familiar with regulation and operation of online casinos, and the foreign companies fit perfectly into that mold.

Concerto video slot machine--KONAMIALL COUNTRIES CAN PLAY @ ATLANTIS GOLD CASINO!
panthercasino.com sport betting and casino

Konami Gaming, Inc., a global leader in casino gaming and systems, announced the debut of its new Concerto video upright cabinet at the 2015 Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas. This week more than 25,000 gaming professionals have first access to one of the industry's most anticipated video slot machines in recent years--a successor to the popular Konami Podium cabinet. Featuring dual 27-inch high-definition touch screen monitors along with enhanced KP3+ platform processing power, a 19.5-inch video topper, and a proprietary new DynamicDash button panel, Konami's Concerto was designed to incorporate specific customer feedback and is characterized by its ability to attract and entertain casino patrons.

"The new Concerto cabinet is essentially a collection of multi-sensory components harmoniously blended together to create a player experience that is both memorable and entertaining. That was the spirit behind the name Concerto," said Matt Reback, vice president, marketing at Konami. "Among our customers, however, it will quickly become even more strongly associated with the magnetic performance and player attraction that operators ultimately appreciate."

One of the machine's most striking details is its signature holographic side lighting feature, to grab attention from every angle. Lying just outside the game screens, the lighting is programmed to interact uniquely with different events--bonus features, win celebrations, attract mode, and more. The machine's new KP3+ platform allows each native game theme, such as Radiant Queen and Fortune Stacks, to carry unique art and design features to each of the machine's interactive display elements, for a greater level of engagement and entertainment.

"Our KP3+ Concerto games leverage the dual 27-inch screens with larger-than-life art and animation unlike anything before. Everything flows and interacts from the video topper, to the digital button panel, to the holographic side lighting; really leveraging the KP3+ platform in the best way possible," said Reback. "At the same time, we designed Concerto so that operators can place their proven KP3 top performers like Dragon's Law and China Shores on this exciting new cabinet, so it represents the perfect combination of innovation and proven performance."
