Day 3 players
12:46pm: Double for JungsandLevel 20 - Blinds 6,000/12,000 (2,000 ante)
Sweden's Mats Jungsand needed an early double and, way to Nikola Ristivojevic, he got just that.
The Serbian opened to 27,000 from the cutoff and made a considered call after Jungsand moved all-in for 149,000 from the following seat.
Ristivojevic: J♦T♠Jungsand: 6♠6♣
The board ran 9♥3♦6♦Q♠T♣ to make Jungsand a suite. --MC
12:40pm: Feriolo falls to GomezLevel 20 - Blinds 6,000/12,000 (2,000 ante)
Julian Feriolo was the second one player to fall today. The Frenchman three-bet all-in for 145,000 from the small blind after Alejandro Vazquez Gomez opened to 28,000 from middle position. Call.
Feriolo: A♠K♠Gomez: T♥T♠
The board ran J♦Q♣8♦6♥9♦ to send the chips in a southerly Spanish direction. --MC
12:25pm: News in briefLevel 20 - Blinds 6,000/12,000 (2,000 ante)
When play got underway Armin Zoike was nowhere to be seen. The German had 752,000 to begin the day so wasn't in desperate trouble if he missed a couple of hands. Seems he had an accident at the way in and cut his head. It's nothing serious but accounts for the delay.
There's never been a feminine UKIPT or Estrellas main event champion but there were, firstly of play, two ladies left within the field. A quirk of the seat draw implies that Janina Burger and June Jenkins has been plonked side by side on table one. --NW
12:20pm: Lajoux the primary to bust on Day 3Level 20 - Blinds 6,000/12,000 (2,000 ante)
Pascal Hocquard Lajoux only started the day with 100,000 so he did not have time to hang out and look ahead to a hand. So lucky that he found 9♦9♥ in the course of the first orbit. It was unlucky however that he bumped into Mathijs Janssen's A♦K♥. The Belgian connected with the 6♦K♣K♦5♠5♣ board and Lajoux made his option to the payouts desk. --NW
12:10pm: Janessens doublesLevel 20 - Blinds 6,000/12,000 (2,000 ante)
On the primary hand of play Bob Janssens got a double up. Albert Sapiano opened to 27,000, Nick De Groot flat called and Janssens then shoved for 221,000 total. Sapiano folded but De Groot asked for a count after which called.
De Groot: 9♥9♠Janssens: A♣J♣
The board ran T♦6♠8♣T♠J♠ and Janssens spiked the river to double to around 480,000 whilst De Groot slips to 230,000. --NW

Welcome back to the penultimate day of the PokerStars Marbella Festival. Just 55 players remain but, by the tip of the day, just eight finalists may be left. Play will stop if that time isn't reached after ten levels of play, but we predict we'll be okay on that front.
All returning Spanish players could be happy after their team beat Turkey last night. The poolside party where the sport was played on a large screen was a really perfect success and the mood will also be summed up by the below picture. -- MC
