6:15pm: Level 19 begins - Blinds are 20,000/40,000 (5,000)
6:00pm: Quoss takes another one
Level 18: 15,000/30,000 (4,000)
Fabian Quoss raised to 75,000 on the button and the shortstacked Ben Tollerene defended to see a flop of [6d][qc][tc]. The action went check check and before the [jh] arrived on the turn.
Again the action went check check and players saw the [kh] river. Now with four to a straight on board, Tollerene checked again before Quoss bet for 75,000.
Tollerene gave it some thought and opted to use his last time breaker chip for more thinking time. With only 408,000 behind, Tollerene did end up folding to conserve his stack as another pot was shipped Quoss's way.
5:50pm: Heads up begins

The two remaining players are back in their seats and ready to play for a $1,446,480 top prize.
Antes have been removed for our heads up match where Fabian Quoss has an overwhelming 5:1 chip lead over Ben Tollerene.
Quoss - 3,500,000
Tollerene - 600,000
5:40pm: Jason Mercier eliminated in 3rd place
Level 18: 15,000/30,000 (4,000)
Fabian Quoss is now our overwhelming chip leader with heads up set as Jason Mercier finds the exit.
The hand that saw him eliminated began with Mercier opening to 60,000 from the button. Quoss in the small blind asked how much Mercier was playing, and upon being told 690,000 total, Quoss put in a three-bet to 160,000. Mercier opted to play for all of it and Quoss called before players opened up their hands.

Mercier was in front but couldn't dodge danger when the flop of [3s][3h][qs] saw Quoss spike a queen. The [kh] turn did improve Mercier to a flush draw but the [2d] river bricked off to see him knocked out from the tournament. He will collect $602,700 for his third place finish while our remaining two, Quoss and Ben Tollerene have begun a short break before heads up play begins.
5:20pm: Small ball continues three-handed
Level 18: 15,000/30,000 (4,000)
The action has slowed down since we reached three-handed play. Perhaps our remaining players are employing extra caution with such a top-heavy payout structure.
We've seen a lot of uncontested pots and very little action so far.
The biggest in recent orbits saw Mercier get the best of Quoss in a blind vs blind confrontation.
Mercier limped in the small blind with [ah][3h] and Quoss check behind with [8c][5d]. The flop appeared a monochrome [ac][2c][7c] and Mercier led for 30,000. Quoss called and players saw the [8h] turn. Mercier bet bigger this time for 96,000 and again Quoss wasn't ready to give his hand up. He called the [8h] arrived on the river.
Both players checked on the end and Mercier raked the pot with his flopped pair of aces.
5:05pm: Play resumes
Level 18 begins. Blinds are 15,000/30,000 with a 4,000 ante.

4:50pm: Time for a break
The three remaining players have stepped away from the action for a 15-minute break.
4:40pm: Three-handed chip count update
Level 17: 12,000/24,000 (4,000)
The chips have been moving back and forward but we haven't seen any huge pots since three-handed play began. Here are the chip counts moving forward.
Fabian Quoss - 2,500,000
Ben Tollerene - 1,100,000
Jason Mercier - 515,000
4:20pm: Connor Drinan eliminated in 4th place
Level 17: 12,000/24,000 (4,000)
Fabian Quoss kicked off the action with a button raise to 55,000 and Connor Drinan defended his big blind. The flop landed [7c][td][jc] and when Drinan checked, Quoss continued for 75,000.
Drinan made the call to see the [9c] turn before checking again. Quoss bet 135,000 this time, Drinan came along, and the [6c] arrived on the river.
It was then that Drinan decided to take the betting lead, making it 165,000 to go. Quoss paused for a few moments before moving all in with enough to cover Drinan's 292,000 behind. With the tournament being a shot clock format, Drinan was counted down to 10 seconds before using his last time breaker chip. With one more minute on the clock, he timed all the way down to only one second left before committing to the call.

Drinan held the queen high flush but it was no good against the ace high flush of his opponent. That misstep sees Drinan heading to the payout desk to collect $441,980 and Quoss building to 2,400,000 in chips.
4:05pm: Drinan doubles through Mercier
Level 17: 12,000/24,000 (4,000)
Connor Drinan had been on a downswing in recent hands but he found a lucky double up against Jason Mercier.
Drinan moved all in for 337,000 from under the gun and Mercier on the button moved all in over the top for 814,000. The blinds quickly mucked and Drinan saw he was behind but had two live cards.

The [8s][js][8c] flop improved Mercier and left Drinan chasing a king or running cards to stay in the tournament. The [9d] was a good one Drinan, gifting him an open-ended straight draw, and he completed it to win the pot on the [qh] river.
Drinan moves up to 726,000 while Mercier dips to 477,000.
3:50pm: Level 17 begins - Blinds are 12,000/24,000 (4,000)
3:40pm: Greenwood eliminated in 5th place
Level 16: 10,000/20,000 (3,000)
Connor Drinan takes out another one of his opponents as Sam Greenwood feels his wrath.
Drinan raised the cutoff to 40,000 before Greenwood pushed all in for 235,000 from the small blind. He gave it some thought but Drinan did make the call and players turned up their hands.

Greenwood was in front and stayed that way through the [jc][3d][6d flop. He maintained the lead when the [4d] turned rolled off but the [9d] river saw Drinan pair up and send Greenwood packing.
Drinan continues to accumulate chips, now sitting at around 900,000.
3:30pm: Greenwood and Tollerene chop it up
Level 16: 10,000/20,000 (3,000)
Sam Greenwood moved all in for 388,000 from under the gun before Ben Tollerene on the button asked for a count. Tollerene moved all in over the top for 1,400,000 and with the rest of the table out of the way the two revealed their hands.

With the same hand it was likely they were chopping but the [2h][td][5h] brought a backdoor flush draw for Greenwood. The [ah] turn meant he was freerolling and could spike another heart to scoop the pot. While it was a red [2d] river the flush draw bricked off and and players split the pot.
3:20pm: Fedor Holz eliminated in 6th place
Level 16: 10,000/20,000 (3,000)
Connor Drinan just got back the chips he recently lost after eliminating Fedor Holz.
Drinan moved all in from the cutoff for 468,000 and after throwing in a time-breaker chip for an extra minute to think, Holz committed his last 172,000 from the button. The blinds threw their hands away and the two active players tabled their hands.

They were flipping but Holz couldn't improve on the [6h][2h][5d][as][9s] run out. Holz pockets $281,260 for almost a full refund on the three bullets he fired to play the event.
Drinan moves back up to 688,000 in chips.
3:00pm: Quoss doubles through Drinan
Level 16: 10,000/20,000 (3,000)
It's only the first hand of the day and already two players have moved all of the money in.
Connor Drinan opened the action to 40,000 from the hijack and it folded to Quoss in the big blind. He bumped it up to 110,000 and Drinan moved all in over the top for 900,000. Quoss called off for his last 475,000 and the cards went on their backs.

Quoss was in good shape and would hold through the [2d][7c][2c][3h][qh] runout.
He climbs to 984,000 in chips while Drinan drops down to 465,000.
2:30pm: Cards in the air!

It's finally here. The $100,000 Challenge final table has been set for four days and now it's finally time to play down to a champion. Our remaining six will be playing for the $1,446,480 top prize.
