Ottolenghi named EVP and CIO for Caesars Entertainment

Caesars Entertainment Corporation announced that it has appointed Les Ottolenghi to the post of executive vice president and chief information officer. In this role, Mr. Ottolenghi will be responsible for shaping and implementing Caesars' technology agenda across all company platforms. He will report directly to President and Chief Executive Officer Mark Frissora. 

"Les is a proven leader in the gaming and hospitality sectors who has a proven ability to create and implement transformative initiatives," Mr. Frissora said. "I am confident that Les' skills will benefit our customers and our company as we ensure our IT capabilities exceed our business needs."

Ottolenghi is a top global technology executive who joins Caesars from Las Vegas Sands Corporation, where he served as the chief information & innovation officer. In addition to his role at Sands, Ottolenghi held senior level IT positions with global hospitality brands Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Holiday Inn Worldwide. He was also the founder and CEO of Plat4m Technologies and Intent Media Works, in addition to serving as CEO of Agentware,

Ottolenghi has received numerous awards and accolades throughout his career, having been named a Top 60 CIO by Execurank, and in 2015 he was nominated for CIO of the Year by CIO Magazine.  

Additionally, he served as an adjunct professor at Emory University lecturing on IT innovation and entrepreneurship.
