Andy Harris have been promoted to the placement of chief executive officer at British slots and table games provider Realistic Games.
Harris joined Realistic as commercial director in 2012 and have been integral to the numerous growth the corporate has experienced ever since. He recently undertook a strategic review on the Berkshire-based business. At the back of this, an in depth marketing strategy have been created which he and his team will now start to implement.
Commenting on his appointment, Harris said: “I am very desirous about getting into the brand new role of CEO at Realistic. “We have an unbelievable business and an effective team, and are very pleased with our ability to deliver great content to quite a lot of excellent operating partners. However, we've got a vital appetite to enhance the corporate in lots of ways, and feature set ourselves some ambitious future goals and targets. We are hoping to succeed in these by intelligently delivering the brand new business plan.”
Harris has over two decades’ worth of expertise working in senior operational roles within the retail and online betting and gaming industry.
Following the completion of a graduate training programme with the Rank Group, he moved into general management at Grosvenor Casinos, before rising to become head of industrial development at Rank Interactive. He then moved to BetVictor to supervise their casino and games operation, and subsequently became director of gaming at Ladbrokes.
