Renderings Released For Possible Las Vegas NFL StadiumNO Deposit bonus $43

The NFL owners haven’t yet met to vote on whether the Raiders can move to Las Vegas, and Nevada officials aren’t that close yet to approving hundreds of millions of greenbacks in taxpayer money for the proposed stadium, but that hasn’t stopped the momentum from continuing to build.

On Thursday, renderings of the proposed stadium from developer Las Vegas Sands were released. Also, just days prior, the Oakland Raiders filed trademark applications with the U.S... Patent and Trademark Office for “Las Vegas Raiders.” The developments this month show that the NFL might really well have a team in Sin City after years and years of staunch and bewildering opposition to gambling.

The renderings are for the Bali Hai golf course near the south end of the Strip, that's owned by legendary Las Vegas sports gambler Billy Walters. Walters, who's under indictment by the federal government, reportedly would sell the land. It sort of feels the 100-acre site is the leading candidate right now, but others are still under consideration.

The stadium could cost between $1.3 billion and $1.6 billion, and taxpayers could fork over the biggest chunk of the associated fee tag. It’s a risky bet, however the stadium and NFL team there are being touted as having the ability to add $830 million to the Las Vegas economy.

Below are more renderings:
