
Galaxy Gaming, an independent producer of casino table games and enhanced systems, has installed its proprietary table games in France. This event marks the primary French approval of a proprietary table game.
France's largest gaming operator, Groupe Lucien Barriere, has agreed to put in Galaxy Gaming's award?winning table game Lucky Ladies into six different French casinos. The primary installation occurred on the Casino Barriere du Deauville in Normandy. In addition, both Lucky Ladies and another popular Galaxy table game, 21+3, are currently offered in five Groupe Lucien Barriere casinos in Switzerland. Barriere also operates additional casinos in France and Egypt, representing additional potential market expansion opportunities for Galaxy.
"After working with French authorities for the past couple of years, our perseverance has now been rewarded," said Robert Saucier, CEO for Galaxy Gaming in a prepared statement. "Although overcoming the entry barrier into France is rather meaningful, it's way more significant to the corporate in the case of the expected long?term business opportunities with France's well?established gaming industry.”
