This week's must-have NBA daily fantasy basketball players
When it comes to the creation of multiple lineups for the same daily fantasy tournament, there are two types of players: Those who hope that one of their lineups hits it big, and those who hope that all of their lineups are big winners.

It should always be your goal to ensure that every lineup you enter is competitive enough to return a profit; if you're looking for a one-in-a-million shot, you might be better off playing the lottery. But how do you go about submitting multiple competitive lineups?

Here are some tips to navigating the multi-entry minefield:

1. Establish a core of stud picks. Every one of your entries should have the same two, three or even four players, picks in which you have extreme confidence. This is often referred to as having "shares" in a particular player or group, and it's the best way to ensure each of your rosters has a solid point base from which to work. You should have high shares in at least two players.

2. Spend up at scarce positions. The odds of finding any value at a weak position is low, so don't play around - spend what you need to secure as many shares as possible in players with high floors. There are positions that offer enough value options to provide multiple winning lineups, so make sure you leave those as your variable slots.

3. Think contrarian. If the goal is simply to finish in the money, you may be inclined to go with a safer pick - but that won't win you the big prize. Reserve your non-core roster spots for players with high ceilings and low projected ownership percentages - it's the best way to set your rosters apart from the field, thereby giving you a better chance of taking down top spot.

Here are this week's must-play FanDuel options:

Tuesday - PG Kyle Lowry, Raptors (vs. Nets)

Lowry checks off all the boxes you want in a stud daily fantasy point guard. He's playing at home against a dreadful opponent, and he's highly motivated after the Raptors squandered a fourth-quarter lead and saw their 12-game home winning streak ended Sunday against Houston. Load up on Lowry, who should be a sensational source of points, rebounds, assists and steals.

Wednesday - SG James Harden, Rockets (at 76ers)

Shooting guard is traditionally one of the toughest positions in which to find elite value - so when Harden is on the slate, you spend whatever it takes to get him. That is especially true Wednesday, as he'll face off against a 76ers team he eviscerated for 50 points, nine rebounds and eight assists in their first meeting of the season. He should be in every one of your lineups.

Thursday - PG D'Angelo Russell, Lakers (vs. Cavaliers)

Russell has been red-hot since being handed the keys to the Los Angeles offense, and finds himself in a terrific matchup against visiting Cleveland. While the Cavaliers boast one of the league's most impressive defenses, they'll be coming off a game in Sacramento the night before. Couple that with the Lakers playing their best basketball of the season, and Russell could be in for a big night.

Friday - PG Russell Westbrook, Thunder (vs. Timberwolves)

Westbrook has had a great deal of daily fantasy success against Minnesota in three meetings this season, averaging 19.3 points, 12 assists and 8.7 rebounds while averaging just over 32 minutes. While it might take something even greater to provide tournament value on his sky-high salary, the potential for a breakout is always there - and at the very least, his floor is absurdly high.

Saturday - PG Stephen Curry, Warriors (vs. Suns)

This is one of the matchups where you know Curry is probably going to sit out most or all of the fourth quarter - and for DFS purposes, it still won't matter. Curry has punished the Suns in three previous meetings this season, averaging 30.7 points, eight assists, 5.7 rebounds and a steal in just 30 minutes. Spend up, and enjoy the show.

Sunday - SF Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks (at Nets)

The Greek Freak has come into his own over the past month, becoming one of the top daily fantasy small forwards thanks to unbelievable versatility. Entering Tuesday, Antetokounmpo is averaging 21.8 points, 8.8 assists, eight rebounds, 2.5 steals and two blocks in March - and he could improve on all five totals against woeful Brooklyn. Roster him no matter the cost.
