The United Kingdom's Channel Five, a commercially operated television station, will work with online gambling operator Partygaming to develop Internet casino and bingo opportunities. The brand new online casino will carry the Five brand and logo, and can receive significant promotion at the television station.
"Five is asking aggressively at expand its presence in digital media," said the chairman and CEO of the published company, Dawn Airey. "WE GLANCE forward to a protracted and prosperous partnership with PartyGaming, whose job will probably be to create for Five's audience the easiest gaming experience."
Partygaming had just seen its maintain ITV end, allowing it to go into into an exclusive relationship with Five.
Channel Five had just been given permission by regulators to supply interactive gaming on its late-night programming, including the televising and gambling on roulette and other casino games.
The agreement marks Partygaming's fourth partnership arrangement to cross-develop established brands with gambling products. Company executives say they expect more because the business enjoys the removal of the grey cloud of potential US prosecution, after paying a hefty fee to US prosecutors.
