VGT has signed a massive handle Cherokee Nation Entertainment (CNE), the gaming and hospitality arm of the Cherokee Nation, bringing VGT games to nine casino locations across northeast Oklahoma.

“At VGT, we're committed to the success of our tribal gaming customers, and we're thrilled to announce this contract, the newest milestone in a long-term relationship between our two organizations,” said VGT sales executive vice chairman James Starr. “We have a powerful portfolio of field-proven games that players enjoy, and we're continually developing new products, that's further spurred by our relationship with the design teams at Aristocrat.”

Under the brand new contract, VGT is supplying Class II games, including new VGT Class II products reminiscent of Easy Money Jackpot® wide area progressive, Red Spin Gambler® video series, and the approaching Client 6 high entertainment games.

The agreement continues a partnership between Cherokee Nation and VGT that dates back to 2002.

“We’ve worked with VGT for greater than a decade and look ahead to growing our partnership,” said Mark Fulton, chief operating officer of CNE. “As the region’s entertainment leader, we bring our guests the most productive entertainment experience within the market, and that implies bringing them the latest, most pleasurable games within the industry.”

CNE operates Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa; eight Cherokee Casinos, including a horse racing track; three hotels; three golf courses; and other retail operations. The region’s entertainment leader employs 4,000 people.

VGT might be exhibiting jointly with parent company Aristocrat on the upcoming Indian Gaming Tradeshow and Convention, which happens March 13-16 on the Phoenix Convention Center. Aristocrat and VGT might be in booth #1347.
