Veridocs, Inc., the developer of the world’s most advanced patron identity management system demonstrated an industry-first true ID authentication from a mobile platform at G2E this year. This new feature provides operators the versatility to capture, analyze, and store scanned identification document data, from the benefit of a Windows mobile device. The Veridocs CR5400 reader powered by 3M wias on display to illustrate this new ground-breaking mobile ID authentication function.

The Veridocs true ID authentication utilizes a high resolution scan and multiple light sources, yielding a comprehensive capture, analysis, and display of all data from MRZ including barcode and OCR translated images. Competing mobile device providers claiming authentication, simply display an image of the ID or at best capture the barcode data, leaving them far in need of “true ID authentication”.

“We’ve gone beyond simply taking an image and scanning the barcode from a mobile device. At Veridocs, we’ve developed this new mobile system for true ID authentication by working closely with our customers and partners,” said Eric Walla, vp of industrial development at Veridocs. “This new mobile feature provides our customers a real property-wide portable ID authentication.”

The Veridocs AT9000 reader powered by 3M and the Veridocs ID-150 powered by AssureTec was on display at G2E booth 2936. Veridocs also demonstrated its system’s ability to automatically populate various in-house applications and forms, eliminating errors and streamlining operations.

In addition to ID Authentication that permits for real-time validation and knowledge capture, the Veridocs system providesUnder-Aged Screening for age verification, Watch List Management to deal with both internal, government, and proprietary watch lists, and AML/MTL Automation for better monitoring and reporting of economic transactions.
