The 'PokerStars LIVE Macau' poker site has two special events left at the year:
1.) ACOP Platinum Series VI (Sep 25 - 28)
2.) 2014 Asia Championship of Poker (Oct 24 - Nov 9)

The Platinum Series is a 4-day, 4-event series that occurs this week and contours the HK $5,500 Main Event which comes with a HK $500,000 guarantee.
Those who thought they wrote down the incorrect dates for the larger 2014 Asia Championship of Poker - but often shortened to 2014 ACOP - can now breathe a sigh of relief. It's still in October so no worries.
But the truth both special events use the similar acronym isn't to clutter together with your head. All roads result in the similar place and there is some solution to the madness.
You see, besides the money prizes the Platinum Series Main Event players who make the highest Ten may even qualify for the web ACOP Platinum Series Playoff (October 5, 2014) where they are able to win among the HK $100,000 Main Event entries to the 2014 Asia Championship of Poker.
