We are only over six weeks clear of the second one annual Super High Roller Bowl, the marquee event on Poker Central, the world’s first 24/7 poker TV network. This year the tournament will feature a $300,000 buy-in, down from half-a-million last year.

The event kicks off on May 29th. Play may be seven handed, with the 49-player cap already met and the sector stuffed with the largest names within the game, including Antonio Esfandiari, Phil Hellmuth, Erik Seidel, Daniel Negreanu and Brian Rast, who won the development last year for $7,525,000 million.

The inaugural Super High Roller bowl sported a $500,000 buy-in, as previously mentioned, and drew a turnout of 43 entries to construct a complete prize pool of $21,500,000. Finally Rast defeated Scott Seiver heads-up to secure the title and the biggest payday of his career.

“I’m so humbled by the turnout of my friends, there has been really lots of people that came out for this,” Rast told CardPlayer TV in an interview after the win. “I’m glad I USED TO BE in a position to placed on a show.”
