Problem Gambling Grouped by Experts with Substance Abuse

Studies have led experts to comprehend problem gambling isn't because of gaming proliferation, but by a brain imbalance also present in substance abusers.

As because of the numerous studies during the last decade, problem gambling is being linked increasingly under the bigger umbrella of substance abuse. This week, experts at the recognition and treatment of compulsive gambling will meet at the side of drug and alcohol abuse counselors to talk about solutions on the Midwest Conference on Problem Gambling and Substance Abuse.

As additional information becomes available on what causes such self-destructive behavior, counselors and other experts continue to transport toward treating specific symptoms similar to problem gambling with a broader program designed to regulate addictive impulses in general.
