Poker Fuse – Again this year the worldwide Gaming Expo (G2E) could be held on the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, but this time their host, Las Vegas Sands Chairman and CEO Sheldon Adelson, can also be a keynote speaker.
Adelson may be giving certainly one of two keynote speeches on the trade event which runs from September 30 to October 2, and with an audience composed of the illuminati of the land based and online gambling industry, he's expected to expound on his opposition to online poker within the US.
The Coalition to prevent Internet Gaming (CSIG) was established last November to lobby against online gambling. It's been funded by Adelson and the Las Vegas Sands to the tune of $460,000 in its first six months.
The other keynote speaker can be Steve Wynn, Chairman of Wynn Resorts Ltd, a chum of Adelson, and a convert to his opinions on online gambling.
