Five things to not miss on PokerStars this weekend.
As we head into the weekend we have a look forward to, and back on, the highest stories from the PokerStars world.
The World Series is getting its justifiable share of Team Pro this summer, with Jason Mercier, Daniel Negreanu and Jason Somerville all scoring results.
The most prominent of that have belonged to Jason Mercier. This week he won his fourth career WSOP bracelet within the 2-7 Lowball Championship. Then, three days later, he nearly made if five, finishing second within the Razz Championship.
The win was worth $272,225 to Mercier, which in conjunction with the $168,936 he added from the Razz event takes his career WSOP earnings to greater than $3.8 million.
Meanwhile Negreanu has scored a succession of deep runs, four to this point in one of the crucial marquee events. Somerville too is doing the same, his most up-to-date finish coming within the HORSE Championship.
There's a seven figure top prize during a brand new special period of $1 million Spin & Go tournaments, which run until the top of July. It is the fourth time this promotion has taken place, featuring a buy in of just $5, which makes for a quite ridiculous return on investment. The end result up to now was nine new millionaires. Someone should be the tenth.

The latest episode of #EPTNotLive podcast is now available, introduced here by the team.
"It's finally happened. A WIDELY KNOWN poker player has a big beef with Joe and has told him how much he DOESN'T appreciate his comedic commentary (it's fair to mention the confrontation was a tad awkward). Fortunately, it is all rainbows and unicorns for the remainder of the podcast, as Joe talks about hanging out with a few of poker's finest at a 70s-themed birthday bash in Las Vegas. Maria Ho was also on the party, and she's the guest in this week's show, finding time between World Series of Poker events to speak to the men and play a silly game. Plus, poker writer Robbie Strazinsky competes for a tournament ticket and a T-shirt in a WSOP-themed edition of 'Superfan vs Stapes'. #EPTNotLive"
