The third season of the Hollywood Poker Open (HPO) is solely weeks away, and this time around poker players may have much more chances to compete in a single of the up-and-coming tours within the U.S.
The Season 3 of the HPO schedule features eight stops, including a brand new one on the Hollywood Casino Toledo from Feb. 5-16. Each stop will include a major Event in addition to qualifiers for the season-ending championship on the M Resort Casino Spa in Las Vegas. Last season, the HPO sent greater than 200 promotional winners to the Championship Event. HPO Tournament Director Bill Bruce says the plan is identical in Season 3.
"We plan not to only give away hundreds of seats to the Championship again, but we can also implement similar seat winner promotions to the Regional tournament series as well," said Bruce, who has served because the HPO director because the tour's inception. "These HPO tournament fields are one of these great mixture of traveling poker professionals and native promotion winners which makes the tournaments really attractive to all levels of poker players."
The first HPO stop of the season will happen from Nov. 13-23 on the Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg in Indiana. Here is a have a look at all the schedule:

2003 World Series of Poker Main Event champ Chris Moneymaker will return as tour ambassador in Season 3, making regular appearances at events all year long. Moneymaker was capable of claim victory at one of the vital stops in Season 2, winning the Hollywood Poker Open St. Louis Regional Championship for $22,395.
Others who captured HPO titles in Season 2 were Toby Mathews (HPO Tunica - $15,040), Bradley Yazici (HPO Grantville - $22,752), Brian Cavaliere (HPO Charles Town - $39,756), and Joey Couden (HPO Columbus - $60,827).
