The highly anticipated second running of the Super High Roller Bowl on the ARIA Resort & Casino gets underway this Sunday. The $300,000 buy-in event will feature 49 players, including a lot of poker’s most successful tournament stars, with all vying for a work of the $15 million prize pool including the $5 million prize awaiting the winner.

The event will last four days, starting Sunday, May 29 and continuing through Wednesday, June 1. It is going to be played seven-handed, with the highest seven finishers making the cash. In last year’s inaugural Super High Roller Bowl (featuring a $500K buy-in and $21.5 million prize pool), Brian Rast beat out Scott Seiver heads-up to win a $7.525 million first prize.

Both Rast and Seiver could be back again this year, as will the opposite five players who made the money a year ago — Connor Drinan, Timofey Kuznetsov, David Peters, Tom Marchese, and Erik Seidel.

Many of the opposite high-rolling usual suspects can be a part of this year’s Super High Roller Bowl field, including Daniel Negreanu, Igor Kurganov, Jason Mercier, Dan Colman, Fedor Holz, Antonio Esfandiari, Andrew Robl, and Phil Hellmuth, simply to name a few.
