6 Matthew Davenport $39,803
7 Miikka Toikka $31,842
8 Dinarte DeSousa $24,605
9 Vivek Gudhka $18,396

A total of 886 players bought into the tournament, and 98 of these made it into the cash. Established players comparable to Antoine Saout (91st - $1,954), Ben Winsor (77th - $2,171), Liam Batey (71st - $2,171), Steve Watts (69th - $2,171), Chris Gordon (58th - $2,533), Mitchell Johnson (25th - $5,789), Sylvia Hewitt (12th - $13,388), and Dan O’Callaghan (10th - $13,388) were a spread of these returning home with prize money to turn for his or her efforts.

The nine-handed final table was set at the evening of May 23, and shortly became eight-handed with the exit of the short-stacked Vivek Gudhka.

Dinarte DeSousa was the following player to fall, pushing just shy of eleven big blinds into the center with the 7-Spades 7-Clubs only to peer Steven Game reraise all in with the 8-Spades 8-Diamonds . Neither player improved by the river, but Game didn't need to, and it was game over for DeSousa.

Three eliminations in quick succession left the overall table with four. Miikka Toikka, a former winner of the GUKPT Goliath, busted when his K- 10- didn't improve against his opponent’s A- 9- . Matthew Davenport's 14-big blind shove with the A-Diamonds 7-Diamonds fell foul to George Plarkou's A-Hearts Q-Diamonds . And then, Terry Jordon lost an enormous coin flip with the J-Hearts J-Diamonds versus the A-Hearts K-Clubs of Jankowski.

Soon after Jordon's demise, Plarkou committed his chips with the K-Hearts Q-Clubs on a K-Clubs 2-Diamonds 2-Spades 4-Hearts board just for Game to carry the K-Diamonds 4-Diamonds . The river was the 5-Hearts , leaving Plakou with a handful of chips, which he lost throughout the same orbit when his shove was called in two spots.

Game then found himself extremely short stacked. When Jankowski raised to 825,000 with the K-Clubs 7-Clubs , Game called off his last 625,000 with the A-Hearts 8-Clubs . Game stayed ahead at the 5-Spades q-Spades 3-Clubs flop, fell behind at the K-Diamonds turn, and was heading for the cashier’s desk with the arriving of the 10-Hearts river.

Jankowski went into the heads-up battle with Dusk Till Dawn regular Daniel Tang holding a chip good thing about 21.5 million to 4.825 million, and although Tang did almost double his stack, the space proved too far to bridge.

The final hand saw the pair visit an 8-Hearts 3-Diamonds 6-Diamonds flop. Jankowski moved all in, Tang eventually called, showing the 10-Hearts 8-Clubs , and he was way sooner than Jankowski's A-Spades 2-Spades . It was an ill-timed move, but person who paid off for the reason that turn was the A-Diamonds . This was followed by the Q-Spades , busting Tang in second place, and leaving Jankowski to be crowned the partypoker WPT National Nottingham champion.
